OPENING CEREMONIES

Vice-Chairman William Culpepper called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. with Commissioners James D. Harris and Wallace Mathis in attendance. Others present were County Administrator Lester E. Crapse, Jr., County Attorney Rick Lawson, Finance Director Sherrie Leverett, Planning Director Connie Sangster, Public Works Director Carl Gamble, Airport Manager William D. Cooper, and Secretary Linda Finch.

GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION

Motion was made by Mr. Harris to go into Executive Session to discuss potential litigation, seconded by Mr. Mathis, motion carried unanimously.

COME OUT OF EXECUTIVE SESSION

Motion was made by Mr. Harris to come out of Executive Session, seconded by Mr. Mathis, motion carried unanimously.

RESCIND SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR GUN CLUB

Motion was made by Mr. Harris to rescind the Special Use Permit for the Gun Club immediately for public safety issues, authorize the County Attorney to notify the Gun Club Attorney, and the county will continue to support the efforts of the Gun Club to relocate, seconded by Mr. Mathis, motion carried unanimously.
